Holy Unqualified was born out of a simple and honest realization: God doesn’t call the qualified. He qualifies the called. Shane and Joe — two ordinary guys with ordinary lives, ordinary struggles, and extraordinary faith — started this podcast not because they had all the answers, but because they knew Someone who did.

The idea began the way most good things do — in conversation. Shane and Joe were talking (as they always do), sharing life, wrestling with Scripture, and finding God in the middle of the mess. Someone said, “We should record this.” And so they did.

Over the course of more than 50 episodes, Holy Unqualified has grown from a casual conversation between two friends into something neither of them expected: a community of listeners who are also figuring it out as they go. People who love God but struggle with doubt. People who go to church but wonder if they’re doing enough. People who feel too ordinary, too broken, or too unqualified — and yet sense the same quiet whisper that Shane and Joe heard: “Follow me.”

The podcast has no agenda beyond honesty and love. No polished theology or rehearsed responses. Just two guys, a microphone, and a God who shows up in the conversation every single time.
